Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29679

Muhammad bin Hatim Al-Muaddeeb narrated to us, Ammar bin Muhammad Ibn Akhtah, Sufyan Al-Thawri narrated to us, Al-Layth bin Abi Sulaym narrated to us, on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman bin Sabit, on the authority of Abu Umamah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made many supplications, of which we have not memorized anything. We said, O Messenger By God, I have invoked many supplications, of which we have not memorized anything. He said, “Shall I not inform you of what brings all of this together?” You say, “O God, we ask you of The best of what your Prophet Muhammad asked of you, and we seek refuge in you from the evil of which your Prophet Muhammad sought refuge in you, and you are the one who is sought, and upon you is “There is no power nor strength except in God.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith.”
