Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29683

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Al-Mu’amil narrated to us, on the authority of Hammad bin Salamah, on the authority of Humaid, on the authority of Anas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Punish me with this Glory and honor.” He said, “This is a strange hadith and is not preserved. Rather, this was narrated on the authority of Hammad bin Salamah, on the authority of Humayd, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and this is more correct, but Mu’amil made a mistake in it, so he said, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Humayd, on the authority of Anas, and it will not be followed up on.
