Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29745

Uqba bin Mukarram told us, Saeed bin Sufyan Al-Jahdari told us, Abdullah bin Maadan told us, Asim bin Kulayb told me Al-Jarami, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, said: I entered upon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was praying, and he had placed his left hand on his left thigh. He placed his right hand on his right thigh, clasped his fingers and extended his index finger, saying, “O One who turns hearts, make my heart firm on Your religion.” Abu Issa said, “This is a strange hadith from this perspective.”
