Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29317

Abdullah bin Humayd told us, Ubayd Allah bin Musa told us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Al-Suddi, he said: I once asked Al-Hamdani about the saying of God, Glory be to Him. God Almighty said: (And there is not one of you but one who will enter it.) Then he told me that Abdullah bin Masoud told them. He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said And peace be upon him, “People will return to the Fire, then they will come out of it because of their deeds. At first they will be like a flash of lightning, then like the wind, then like the back of a horse, then like a rider in “His journey, then the man’s strength, then his walking.” He said, “This is a hasan hadith. Shu’bah narrated it on the authority of Al-Suddi, but he did not narrate it.”
