Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29800

It was narrated on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith bin Jaz’, something like this. Narrated to us about that, Ahmad bin Khaled Al-Khallal, Yahya bin Ishaq Al-Silhani narrated to us, Al-Layth bin Saad narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith bin Part, he said, the laughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was nothing but a smile. Abu Issa said: This is an authentic, strange hadith that we do not know from the hadith of Laith bin Saad except in this respect.
