Hadith #29858
Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Sakan ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, nicknamed Abu Muhammad, a client of the family of Othman, he said: Al-Walid ibn Abi Hisham narrated to us, on the authority of Farqad Abu Talha, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Khabab, who said: I witnessed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was He urges the army of hardship, so Othman bin Affan stood up and said, O Messenger of God, on a hundred camels, with their yokes and their harnesses, for the sake of God. Then he called for the army, and Othman bin Affan stood up and said, O Messenger of God, for two hundred camels, with their horses and their harnesses, for the sake of God. Then he called for the army, and Othman bin Affan stood up and said, “O Messenger of God, for God’s sake, I have three hundred camels, with their yokes and their harnesses.” For God’s sake. I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, coming down from the pulpit and saying, “Uthman is not responsible for what he has done after this.” Othman did not do anything after this.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith from this perspective. We do not know it except from the hadith of Al-Sakan Ibn Al-Mughirah. And on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Samurah.
