Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29897

Qutaibah narrated to us, he said, Saleh bin Musa al-Talhi narrated to us, from the descendants of Talha bin Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Al-Salt bin Dinar, on the authority of Abu Nadra, he said, he said Jabir bin Abdullah I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “Who would be pleased to look at a martyr walking on the face of the earth?” Let him look at Talha bin Ubayd Allah.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Al-Salat. Some people have spoken The people of knowledge regarding Al-Salat ibn Dinar and Salih ibn Musa from before they memorized them.
