Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29919
Hadith #29919
Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Dawraqi narrated to us, he said, Shababah narrated to us, he said, Warqa’ narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zinad, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Al-Abbas is the uncle of the Messenger of God, and indeed a man’s paternal uncle is similar to his father or similar to his father.” This is a good and strange hadith. We do not know it from the hadith of Abu al-Zinad except from this perspective.

Abu Hurairah (RA)
