Hadith #27824
Ali bin Hajar told us, Al-Walid bin Muslim told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Rafi’, on the authority of Summa, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever meets God without a trace of jihad will meet God with a defect in him.” Abu Issa said this hadith. Strange is the hadith of Al-Walid bin Muslim on the authority of Ismail bin Rafi’. Ismail bin Rafi’ was considered weak by some of the hadith’s companions. He said: And I heard Muhammad say, “It is trustworthy and close to the hadith.” This hadith was narrated through a different chain of transmission, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And the hadith of Salman, its chain of transmission is not connected to Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir. He did not catch Salman al-Farisi. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Ayoub bin Musa, on the authority of Makhul, on the authority of Sharhabeel bin Al-Samat, on the authority of Salman, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the like.
