Hadith #37950
وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ أَلِيَ أَجْرٌ أَنْ أَنْفِقَ عَلى بَنِىْ أَبِىْ سَلَمَةَ؟ إِنَّمَا هُمْ بَنِيَّ فَقَالَ: «أَنَفِقِي عَلَيْهِمْ فَلَكِ أَجْرُ مَا أَنْفَقْتِ عَلَيْهِم». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Umm Salamah, she said: I said: O Messenger of God, what reward do I have for spending on the children of Abi Salamah? They were only children, so he said: “Spend on them, and you will have the reward for what you spent on them.” (agreed)
