Hadith #38270
وَعَنْ أَبِىْ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ سُئِلَ عَنْ رُكُوْبِ الْهَدْىِ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «ارْكَبْهَا بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ إِذَا أُلْجِئْتَ إِلَيْهَا حَتّٰى تَجِدَ ظَهْرًا». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, he said: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah being asked about riding a sacrificial animal, and he said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, say: “Ride it honourably.” If you resort to it until you find noon.” Narrated by Muslim
