Hadith #40060
On the authority of Abu al-Darda’, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up and we heard him say: “I seek refuge in God from you,” then he said: “I curse you with the curse of God” three times. He extended his hand as if he was holding something, and when he finished praying, we said, O Messenger of God, we heard you say something during prayer that we did not hear. You say it before that, and we saw you spread your hand. He said: “Indeed, the enemy of God, Satan, came with a shooting star to put it in my face, so I said, I seek refuge in God.” From you three times. Then I said: I curse you with the complete curse of God. He did not delay it three times. Then I wanted to take him, by God, had it not been for an invitation. Our brother Solomon became bound for the children of the city to play with.” Narrated by Muslim
