Hadith #38849
وعن أبي عطية قال‏:‏ دخلت أنا ومسروق على عائشة رضي الله عنها فقال لها مسروق‏:‏ رجلان من أصحاب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كلاهما لا يألو عن الخير‏:‏ أحدهما يعجل المغرب والإفطار، والآخر يؤخر المغرب والإفطار‏؟‏ فقالت‏:‏ من يعجل المغرب والإفطار‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ عبد الله - يعني ابن مسعود- فقالت‏:‏ هكذا كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصنع‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Attiya, he said: Masruq and I entered upon Aisha, may God be pleased with her, and Masruq said to her: Two men from the companions of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, both of whom do not refrain from doing good: one of them hastens the sunset and iftar, and the other delays the sunset and iftar? She said: Who hastens the sunset and the iftar? He said: Abdullah - meaning Ibn Masoud - and she said: This is what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to do.
