Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38923

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “God Almighty has angels who roam the roads seeking people of remembrance, and when they find people who remember God Almighty, they call out: Come to what you need, and they flap them with their wings to the lowest heaven, and their Lord - and He knows best - asks them: What do My servants say? He said: They say: They glorify You, They glorify you, praise you, and glorify you. He says: Did you? They saw me? They say: No, no, by God, they did not see you. He says: What if they saw me? He said: They say: If they had seen you, they would have worshiped you more, glorified you more, and praised you more. He says: So what do they ask? He said: They say: They ask you for Paradise. He said: He says: And did they see it? He said: They say: No, by God, O Lord, they did not see it. He said: He says: So what if they had seen it?! He said: They say: If they had seen it, they would have been more eager for it, more eager for it, and greater in their desire for it. He said: From what do they seek refuge? He said: They say: They seek refuge from Hell. He said: Then He says: And did they see it? He said: They say: No, by God, they would not have seen it. Then He says: What if they had seen it?! He said: They say: If only they had seen it. When they saw it, they fled more and feared it more. He said: He says: I bear you witness that I have forgiven them. He said: One of the angels says: Among them is so-and-so who is not one of them. He only came for a need. He said: They are the companions, and their companion does not feel miserable with them. With them, they surrounded each other with their wings until they filled what was between them And what is between the lower heaven, and when they disperse, they ascend and ascend to heaven, and God Almighty - and He knows best - asks them: Where did you come from? They say: We came from your servants on earth: they glorify you, glorify you, applaud you, praise you, and ask you. He said: What do they ask me? They said: They ask you for your paradise. He said: And have they seen my paradise? They said: No, O Lord. He said: What if they saw My Paradise?! They said: And they seek protection from You. He said: And from what do they seek protection from Me? They said: From Your fire, O Lord. He said: And did they see My fire? They said: No. He said: So what if they saw My fire? They said: And they seek Your forgiveness. Then He says: I have forgiven them, and given them what they asked, and rewarded them for what they sought protection. He said: And they say: My Lord, among them is so-and-so, a servant who is just a sinner. He passed by and sat with them, and said: And I have forgiven him. They are the people who will not be miserable Their babysitter.
