Hadith #39819
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ النَّاسِ؟ رَجُلٌ مُمْسِكٌ بِعِنَانِ فَرَسِه فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ. أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِالَّذِىْ يَتْلُوهُ؟ رَجُلٌ مُعْتَزِلٌ فِىْ غُنَيْمَةٍ لَه يُؤَدِّىْ حَقَّ اللّهِ فِيهَا. أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِشَرِّ النَّاسِ؟ رَجُلٌ يُسْأَلُ بِاللّهِ وَلَا يُعْطِىْ بِه» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Shall I not inform you of the best of people? A man holding the reins of his horse for the sake of God. Shall I not inform you of what is recited? A man who secludes himself in his spoils and pays God’s right to it. Shall I not tell you how evil people are? A man asks by God and is not given With it. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa’i and Al-Darimi
