Hadith #40034
On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar: A man asked the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him: What clothes should a person in ihram wear? He said: “Do not wear shirts, turbans, trousers, robes, or slippers, except for someone who cannot find shoes and wears slippers.” And let him cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any clothing that has been touched by saffron or rice.” Agreed upon, and Al-Bukhari added in a narration: “A woman in ihram should not cover herself or wear gloves.”
