Mishkatul Masabih — Hadith #39828

Hadith #39828
He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Do not fast until you see the moon, and do not break your fast until you see it. If you cannot see the moon because the sky is overcast, then thirty days of the month (Sha'ban). Complete it (meaning - consider this month as thirty days). So do not observe the fast until the moon is seen. If the sky is cloudy then thirty days of the month are complete do it (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]
