Hadith #39982
هل قمت بالدعاء أو تمنيت له ذلك؟ قال: نعم، كنت أقول: «اللهم عذابي في الآخرة أولني في الدنيا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «سبحانها في الآخرة ارزقنا حسنة وقنا عذاب النار» قال الراوي [أنس رضي الله عنه]» فدعا الرجل هكذا فشفاه الله تعالى. (مسلم)[1]
Did you make dua or wished it to him? He replied, Yes, I used to say, "O Allah! The punishment that you will give me in the hereafter, give me in this world first. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, Subha-nall-ha! of the hereafter Grant us goodness and save us from the 'punishment of Hell'). Narrator [Anas (R.A.)] said, Then the man made dua like this and Allah Ta'ala healed him. (Muslim)[1]
