Hadith #40017
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: أَنَّهُ انْتَهٰى إِلَى الْجَمْرَةِ الْكُبْرٰى فَجَعَلَ الْبَيْتَ عَنْ يَسَارِه وَمِنًى عَنْ يَمِينِه وَرَمٰى بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ: هٰكَذَا رَمَى الَّذِىْ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud: He went to Jamrat al-Kubra and placed the Ka’bah on his left and turned away on his right and stoned seven stones. pebbles, saying “Allahu Akbar” with each pebble. Then he said: “This is what the one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed stoned.” (agreed)
