Hadith #37914
وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ: «لَا تُلْحِفُوا فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ فوَاللّه لَا يَسْأَلُنِىْ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمِ شَيْئًا فَتُخْرِجَ لَه مَسْأَلَتُه مِنِّي شَيْئًا وَأَنَا لَه كَارِهٌ فَيُبَارَكَ لَه فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتُه» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Muawiyah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not be ambivalent about a question, for by God, none of you will ask me for anything and his request from me will come out to him.” And I hate it, so I will bless him for what I have given him.” Narrated by Muslim
