Hadith #40144
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِيْ بَكْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أبِيْ يَقُوْلُ: كُنَّا نَنْصَرِفُ فِىْ رَمَضَانَ مِنَ الْقِيَامِ فَنَسْتَعْجِلُ الْخَدَمَ بِالطَّعَامِ مَخَافَةَ فَوْتِ السَّحُورِ. وَفِىْ أُخْرى مَخَافَة الْفَجْرِ. رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ
On the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Bakr, he said: I heard my father saying: We used to distract ourselves from praying in Ramadan, and we would rush the servants with food for fear of Missing suhoor. In others, fear of dawn. Narrated by Malik
