Hadith #40195
عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْأَضْحى يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَعْدُ أَنْ صَلّى وَفَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِه وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذا هُوَ يَرى لَحْمَ أَضَاحِيٍّ قَدْ ذُبِحَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِه فَقَالَ: «مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ أَوْ نُصَلِّيَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ مَكَانَهَا أُخْرى» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: قَالَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ ذَبَحَ وَقَالَ: «مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ أُخْرى مَكَانَهَا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَذْبَحْ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللهِ». (مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Jundub bin Abdullah, he said: I witnessed the sacrifice of Eid al-Adha on the Day of Sacrifice with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He did not pray any more and finished his prayer and greeted him. Then, behold, he He saw the meat of a sacrificial animal that had been slaughtered before he finished his prayer, and he said: “Whoever slaughtered it before he or I prayed, let him slaughter it in its place.” “Other.” And in a narration: He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed on the Day of Sacrifice, then he delivered a sermon, then he slaughtered and said: “Whoever slaughtered before he prayed, let him slaughter another.” And whoever does not slaughter, let him slaughter in the name of God.” (agreed)
