Hadith #46213
وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أخر ليلة صلاة العشاء إلى شطر الليل ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه بعدما صلى فقال‏:‏ ‏ "‏صلى الناس ورقدوا ولم تزالوا في صلاة منذ انتظرتموها‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, delayed the evening prayer until half past night, then he turned to us with his face after he had prayed and said: “The people prayed and lay down, and you have not stopped praying since you have been waiting for it.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)
