حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ غُلاَمًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ كَانَ يَخْدُمُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَمَرِضَ، فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعُودُهُ، فَقَعَدَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ فَقَالَ: أَسْلِمْ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى أَبِيهِ، وَهُوَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: أَطِعْ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَأَسْلَمَ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.
Suleiman bin Harb told us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, that a Jewish boy was serving the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He fell ill, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to him to visit him, and he sat by his head and said: “Islamic.” So he looked at his father, while he was at his house. His head, so he said to him: Obey Abu Al-Qasim, may God bless him and grant him peace. So he submitted to Islam, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out and said: Praise be to God who saved him from Fire...
