Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47104

Ismail told us, he said: Malik told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of his father, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by a man admonishing his brother about Modesty, so he said: Leave it, for modesty is part of faith. - Abdullah told us, saying: Abdul Aziz bin Abi Salamah told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of Ibn Umar, said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by a man who was blaming his brother for modesty, as if he was saying: He has harmed you. He said: Leave it, for modesty is part of faith.
