Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47339
Hadith #47339
Adam told us, he said: Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Humaid al-Tawil, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was in the market, and a man said: Oh Abu Al-Qasim, then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, turned to him and said: O Messenger of God, I only invited this man, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: He, peace be upon him, said: Call me by my name, and do not call me by my nickname.
