Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #53792

Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-Warith told us, Shu`bah told us, Abu Bishr told us, he said: I heard Sa`id bin Jubayr, saying: I wrote A woman said to Ibn Abbas and Ibn al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with them both: I am menstruating but do not purify myself, and I remind you of God unless you give me a fatwa. I could not find anything for it except what Ali said, and it was said: Kufa is a cold land, so he said: “If God had willed, He would have tried it with something more severe than that,” Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Qais, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: It was said to Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both: Its land is cold land, so he said: “Delay “Dhuhr and hastens the afternoon prayer, and performs a ritual ablution, and delays the sunset, and hastens the evening prayer, and performs a ritual ablution, and performs a ritual ablution for dawn.”
