أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ :" وَقْتُ النُّفَسَاءِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا، فَإِنْ طَهُرَتْ، وَإِلَّا فَلَا تُجَاوِزْهُ حَتَّى تُصَلِّيَ "
Ja`far ibn Aoun informed us, Ismail ibn Muslim informed us, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Uthman ibn Abi Al-Aas, he said: “The time for post-partum bleeding is forty.” One day, if you are pure, otherwise do not exceed it until you pray.”
