Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54256

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, Al-Sa’ib bin Yazid told me, on the authority of Al-Muttalib bin Abu Wada’ah said that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I did not see the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, praying in I recited the rosary to him while he was sitting, until it was one or two years before he died, and I saw him praying his rosary while sitting, and reciting the surah. Until it is longer than the longest of it.” Uthman ibn Umar informed us, Malik informed us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Al-Sa’ib ibn Yazid, on the authority of Al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada’ah, on the authority of Hafsa, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, with this hadith
