أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" عَلِّمُوا الصَّبِيَّ الصَّلَاةَ ابْنَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ، وَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا ابْنَ عَشْرٍ "
Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr Al-Humaidi told us, Harmala bin Abdul Aziz bin Al-Rabi’ bin Sabra bin Ma’bad Al-Juhani told us, he told me My uncle Abdul-Malik bin Al-Rabi’ bin Sabra, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Teach The boy prayed at the age of seven, and beat him for it at the age of ten.”
