Hadith #54478
Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Uthman ibn al-Mughirah, on the authority of Iyas ibn Abi Ramla, he said: Muawiyah witnessed Zaid bin Arqam asks: Did you witness with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, two Eids that came together on one day? He said: Yes. He said: How was it made? He said: He prayed Eid, then he made a concession on Friday, saying: “Whoever wants to pray, let him pray.”
