أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ أَنْنَرْمِيَ الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ "
Othman bin Omar told us, Othman bin Murrah told us, on the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Othman Al-Taymi, He said: “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered us during the Farewell Pilgrimage to stone the Jamarat with a stone like a gravel.”
