حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَإِذَا أَجْنَبَ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أَوْ يَنَامَ، تَوَضَّأَ "
Sahl bin Hammad told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Hakam, he said: I heard Ibrahim speaking, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Aisha, she said: “ Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was in a state of ritual impurity and wanted to eat or sleep, he would perform ablution.
