أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَامَ أنَاسٌ فِي إِمَارَةِ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَبِيعُونَ آنِيَةَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ إِلَى الْعَطَاءِ.
فَقَامَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْبَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ، وَالْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ، وَالْبُرِّ بِالْبُرِّ، وَالتَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ، وَالشَّعِيرِ بِالشَّعِيرِ، وَالْمِلْحِ بِالْمِلْحِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ، فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوْ ازْدَادَ، فَقَدْ أَرْبَى "
Amr ibn Aoun told us, Khalid told us, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Abu al-Ash’ath al-San’ani, he said: He People in the emirate of Muawiyah sell vessels of gold and silver to a bidder. Ubadah ibn al-Samit stood up and said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace “He forbade the exchange of gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, dates for dates, barley for barley, and salt. With salt, except like for like, equal for the same. So whoever adds more or more, he has done more.”
