أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعْيَمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ : أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى "
Abu Nu'aym told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-A'mash, on the authority of Abu Wa'il, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said He said: “Let none of you say: I am better than Yunus ibn Matthew.”
