حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجَعْدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ G قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ رَحِيمٌ : مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا، كُتِبَتْ عَشْرًا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةٍ إِلَى أَضْعَافٍ كَثِيرَةٍ، وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا، كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً، أَوْ يَمْحُوهَا.
وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ "
Affan narrated to us, Ja’far bin Sulayman narrated to us, Al-Ja’ad Abu Uthman narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Raja’ al-Attaridi, he said: I heard Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding what he narrated on the authority of his Lord, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed Your Lord is Most Merciful: Whoever intends to do a good deed and does not do it, it is recorded for him as a good deed, but if he does it, it is recorded ten to seven hundred times. Many, and whoever intends to do a bad deed and does not do it, it is recorded for him as a good deed. If he does it, it is recorded as one, or he erases it. And no one is defeated except by God Perished
