حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" جَعَلَ اللَّهُ الرَّحْمَةَ مِائَةَ جُزْءٍ فَأَمْسَكَ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ، وَأَنْزَلَ فِي الْأَرْضِ جُزْءًا وَاحِدًا، فَمِنْ ذَلِكَ الْجُزْءِ يَتَرَاحَمُ الْخَلْقُ، حَتَّى تَرْفَعَ الْفَرَسُ حَافِرَهَا عَنْ وَلَدِهَا خَشْيَةَ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُ "
Al-Hakam bin Nafi’ told us, on the authority of Shuaib, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab told me, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: I heard the Prophet pray God, upon him be peace, says: “God made mercy into one hundred parts, then He kept with Him ninety-nine, and sent down on earth one part.” One, for it is from that part that creation shows compassion, until the mare raises her hoof from her child for fear of harming him.”
