أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى : أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ : أَنَّ عَمَّةً لَهُ تُوُفِّيَتْ يَهُودِيَّةً بِالْيَمَنِ ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ :" يَرِثُهَا أَقْرَبُ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ دِينِهَا "
Yazid bin Harun told us, Yahya told us: Sulayman bin Yasar told him, on the authority of Muhammad bin Al-Ash’ath: That a paternal aunt of his died. A Jew in Yemen, so he mentioned that to Omar ibn al-Khattab and said: “The people closest to her from her religion will inherit it.”
