Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #56138

Muhammad ibn Al-Ala narrated to us, Zakaria ibn Adi narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Sinan, on the authority of Amr ibn Murrah, on the authority of Abu Al-Bakhtari, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, he said: It was said: O Messenger of God, your nation will be tried after you. He said: So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked May God bless him and grant him peace. Or he was asked: What is the way out of it? He said: “The Mighty Book which #falsehood does not come to it from before it or behind it. A revelation from the Wise, the Praiseworthy, Surah Fussilat, Verse 42 #Whoever seeks guidance in Other than him, God has led him astray, and whoever is in charge of this matter from a tyrant has ruled. Other than that, God has protected him. He is the Wise Reminder, the clear light, and the straight path. In it is the news of those before you, and the news of those after you. And the judgment of what is between you, and it is the final decision, and it is not a joke, and it is what the jinn heard but did not hesitate to say: #Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Qur’an. Surah Al-Jinn, Verse 1 #, “And He does not become weak due to frequent retaliation, nor will His lessons expire, nor will His wonders fade away.” Then Ali said to Al-Harith: Take it to you, O one-eyed man.
