حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ : أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ ، يَقُولُ :" إِنَّ أَخًا لَكُمْ أُرِيَ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنَّ النَّاسَ يَسْلُكُونَ فِي صَدْعِ جَبَلٍ وَعْرٍ طَوِيلٍ، وَعَلَى رَأْسِ الْجَبَلِ شَجَرَتَانِ خَضْرَاوَانِ تَهْتِفَانِ : هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ ؟ هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ آلِ عِمْرَانَ ؟ فَإِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ : نَعَمْ، دَنَتَا بِأَعْذَاقِهِمَا حَتَّى يَتَعَلَّقَ بِهِمَا، فَتَخْطِرَانِ بِهِ الْجَبَلَ ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : الْأَعْذَاقُ : الْأَغْصَانُ
Abdullah bin Saleh told us, Muawiyah told me, on the authority of Abu Yahya Sulaym bin Amir: He heard Abu Umamah say: “Indeed, a brother of yours.” I saw in a dream that people were walking in the crevasse of a long, rugged mountain, and on the top of the mountain there were two green trees shouting: Is there anyone among you? Does he recite Surah Al-Baqarah? Is there anyone among you who recites Surat Al Imran? So when the man says: Yes, they bring their roots close to him until he clings to them, then they bring him to the mountain.” Abu Muhammad said: The stems: the branches.
