Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54359

Muhammad bin Yahya told us, Ya’qub bin Ibrahim told us, my father told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id al-Maqbari told me On the authority of Ata’, the freed slave of Sabiya’s mother, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “If it were not that it would be difficult for My nation, I would have commanded them to use the siwak for every prayer, and I would have delayed the last night of Isha until a third of the night, for when the first third of the night has passed, God descended to the lowest heaven, and he did not remain there until dawn came. Someone says: Is there not one who asks for something to be given? Is there no need to be answered? unless A sick person seeks treatment and is cured? Is there not a sinner who seeks forgiveness and will be forgiven? “Muhammad told us, Ya’qub told us, my father told me, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, my uncle Abdul Rahman bin Yasar told me, on the authority of Ubaid Allah bin Abu Rafi’, the client of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, like the hadith of Abu Hurairah
