حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، - كُوفِيٌّ - وَهَنَّادٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ الْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلاَمِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْمُلاَئِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالاَنِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَامَ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ حَتَّى غَطَّ أَوْ نَفَخَ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ قَدْ نِمْتَ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْوُضُوءَ لاَ يَجِبُ إِلاَّ عَلَى مَنْ نَامَ مُضْطَجِعًا فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا اضْطَجَعَ اسْتَرْخَتْ مَفَاصِلُهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ اسْمُهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏.‏
Ismail bin Musa - Kufi - and Hanad and Muhammad bin Ubaid Al-Muharbi narrated to us. The meaning is the same. They said: Abd al-Salam bin Harb narrated to us. Al-Mala'i, on the authority of Abu Khaled Al-Dalani, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abu Al-Aliya, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that he saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, falling asleep. He was prostrating until he sank or blew, then he stood up and prayed. I said, O Messenger of God, you have fallen asleep. He said, “Ablution is not obligatory except for those who He slept lying down, and when he lay down, his joints relaxed.” Abu Issa and Abu Khaled said, “His name is Yazid bin Abdul Rahman.” He said and faithful Chapter on the authority of Aisha, Ibn Masoud, and Abu Hurairah.
