Hadith #27723
قَالَ مَحْمُودٌ وَقَالَ وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ مُرِّيِّ بْنِ قَطَرِيٍّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَهُ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنَ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي طَعَامِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ .
Mahmoud said, and Wahb bin Jarir said, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Simmak, on the authority of Murri bin Qatari, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the same. According to the people of knowledge, acting on this is part of the concession in eating food for the People of the Book.
