Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26237

Ibn Abi Umar told us, he said, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of God said, May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “Ablution from whatever the fire has touched, even if it is from a plucked bull.” He said, Ibn Abbas said to him, “O Abu Hurairah, should we perform ablution?” With the ointment, I wash myself off with the boiling water. He said, Abu Hurairah said, “O my nephew, if you hear a hadith from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, do not beat him.” For example, he said, and in the chapter on the authority of Umm Habiba, Umm Salamah, Zayd bin Thabit, Abu Talha, Abu Ayyub, and Abu Musa. Abu Musa said: Jesus, and some of the people of knowledge saw the ablution changed by fire, and most of the people of knowledge were the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, his followers, and those who After they abandoned ablution, which was changed by the fire.
