Ali bin Hajar told us, Hushaym told us, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha’, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Malik bin al-Huwayrith al-Laythi, that he saw The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was praying, and when he was in the witr prayer of his prayer, he would not get up until he was fully seated. Abu Issa said the hadith of Malik ibn Al-Huwayrith is a hasan and authentic hadith. It is acted upon according to some people of knowledge. This is what Ishaq and some of our companions say about it.
