Abu Kurayb narrated to us - meaning Muhammad bin Al-Ala’ Al-Hamdani narrated to us. Zayd bin Al-Hubab narrated to us. Omar bin Abi Khath’am narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Many, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever prays six rak’ahs after sunset has not He speaks evil among themselves, and they have treated him as equal to his twelve years of worship.” Abu Issa said, and it was narrated on the authority of Aisha, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “Whoever prays twenty rak’ahs after sunset, God will build for him a house in Paradise.” Abu Issa said the hadith of Abu Hurairah. A strange hadith that we do not know except from the hadith of Zayd ibn al-Hubab on the authority of Umar ibn Abi Khath’am. He said: I heard Muhammad ibn Ismail say: Umar ibn Abdullah bin Abi Khath’am rejected the hadith and considered it very weak.
