Hadith #26602
وَرَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، نَحْوَ هَذَا حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ، مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَأَكْثَرُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مَعَ الْوِتْرِ وَأَقَلُّ مَا وُصِفَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ بِاللَّيْلِ تِسْعُ رَكَعَاتٍ .
It was narrated by Sufyan Al-Thawri, on the authority of Al-A’mash, similar to this. He narrated that to us. Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Yahya bin Adam narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Al-Amash, Abu Issa said: The most that has been narrated from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding the night prayer is thirteen rak’ahs with Witr, and the least is He described his night prayer as nine rak'ahs.
