Hadith #26644
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الْمَصَاحِفِيُّ الْبَلْخِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قُرَّةَ الأَسَدِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ مَوْقُوفٌ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لاَ يَصْعَدُ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى نَبِيِّكَ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Abu Dawud told us, Sulayman bin Sallam Al-Mushafihi Al-Balkhi told us, Al-Nadr bin Shumail told us, on the authority of Abu Qurrah Al-Asadi, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, said: Supplication is stopped between the heavens and the earth, and nothing of it ascends until you send blessings upon your Prophet. May God bless him and grant him peace
