Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26645

Strange. Abbas is the son of Abd al-Azeem. Abu Issa and Al-Ala bin Abd al-Rahman said that he is the son of Yaqoub and he is the client of al-Harqa. Al-Ala’ is one of the Tabi’in. He heard it from Anas bin Malik and others. Abd al-Rahman bin Yaqoub, the father of Al-Ala’, is also one of the Tabi’een. He heard from Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, and Ibn Umar. Ya’qub, the grandfather of al-Ala, was also one of the great followers. He met Umar ibn al-Khattab. He narrated on his authority, Chapters on Friday, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
