Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26916

Abu Bakr bin Nafi’ Al-Basri told us, Masoud bin Wasil told us, on the authority of Nihas bin Qahm, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “There are no days more beloved to God to be worshiped than the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. Fasting every day of it is equivalent to fasting a year, and praying every night of it is equivalent to Laylat al-Qadr.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. We know it only from the hadith of Masoud bin Wasil on the authority of Al-Nahhas. He said, “I asked Muhammad about this hadith, but he did not know of it other than this way.” Like this. And he said, “Some of this was narrated on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Sa’id ibn al-Musayyab, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And Yahya spoke Ibn Saeed in Nihas Ibn Qahm by his memorization.
